The latest iteration of the CCR1009 router marks a significant advancement, incorporating valuable insights from customer feedback and our evolving expertise in CCR device manufacturing over the past three years. This updated version introduces key enhancements to address previous limitations and deliver a more potent and versatile networking solution.
Foremost among these changes is the removal of the switch-chip, replaced with fully independent Ethernet ports. Each port now directly connects to the CPU, eliminating the shared 1Gbit limitation from switch-chip ports and unlocking the full potential of CPU processing power on each port.
Additionally, the introduction of a Combo-Port offers a single 1Gbit software interface with both an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet port. This versatile design allows users to leverage any available connection type and seamlessly switch between physical interfaces in RouterOS. The Combo-Port also provides a hardware fail-over feature in the event of disconnection.
Notably, the CCR1009 now supports 100Mbps SFP, accommodating 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules alongside standard 1.25G SFP modules.
With ports directly connected to the CPU, the updated CCR1009 achieves heightened throughput, ensuring superior network performance. These enhancements underscore our commitment to refining technology based on user insights, providing a more robust and efficient networking experience. Elevate your connectivity with the upgraded CCR1009, tailored to meet evolving demands and deliver superior throughput capabilities.
